Privacy Policy

Your privacy, handled with the same care as our craft.

Last updated · August 21, 2026

Gisselle Atelier ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website www.gisselleatelier.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

I

Information We Collect

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies:

  • Device information (browser type, operating system, screen resolution)
  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation patterns
  • Referring URL (how you arrived at our site)
  • Click interactions (buttons, links, and calls-to-action)
  • Session recordings made by Microsoft Clarity — mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks reconstructed as a replay of your visit
  • Contextual labels we attach to your session (page language, page type, service viewed, scroll depth, and the utm_campaign of the ad you arrived from)

Information You Provide

Our website does not include contact forms or account registration. When you choose to contact us via WhatsApp or book an appointment through Booksy, those interactions are governed by the privacy policies of WhatsApp (Meta) and Booksy, respectively.

II

Analytics & Tracking Technologies

We use the following third-party services to understand how visitors interact with our site and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising:

Google Analytics 4

Measures site traffic, page views, and user behavior. Sets cookies including _ga and _ga_* to distinguish unique visitors. Data is processed by Google LLC.

Microsoft Clarity

Records session replays and heatmaps to help us understand how visitors navigate the site. Clarity does not ask for your name or email, but the replay does capture your mouse movement, scrolling and clicks. Clarity also synchronizes a Microsoft browser identifier (MUID) with Bing through c.clarity.ms and c.bing.com; Microsoft states that this identifier is used for advertising as well as analytics, and it is readable across other sites that use Microsoft services.

Meta Pixel & Conversions API

Tracks visitor actions (page views, button clicks) to measure the performance of advertising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram). Sets cookies including _fbc and _fbp. Events are also sent server-side via the Conversions API, which transmits your IP address, browser user agent, the _fbc and _fbp values, and an anonymous identifier we generate ourselves (_exid, sent as external_id) to Meta for ad attribution. That server call can also set those cookies on your browser.

Cloudflare Web Analytics

Our host, Cloudflare, loads a small script on every page that reports page-load timing and performance metrics. Cloudflare states it collects timing metrics only and does not track individual visitors across sites. We verified it sets no cookies.

III

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Here are the cookies our site uses:

Cookie Purpose Duration
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics — distinguish unique visitors 2 years
_fbc Meta — stores click identifier from Facebook ads 90 days
_fbp Meta — identifies the browser for ad targeting 90 days
_exid Set by us — a random, anonymous visitor ID sent to Meta as external_id so browser and server events can be matched. Contains no name, email, or phone number. 2 years
_clck Microsoft Clarity — persists the Clarity user ID 1 year
_clsk Microsoft Clarity — joins your page views into one session recording 1 day
CLID, ANONCHK, MR, MUID, SM Set by Microsoft (clarity.ms and bing.com), not by this site, when Clarity synchronizes its browser identifier. Microsoft states MUID is used for advertising as well as analytics. Microsoft does not publish the durations — see their privacy statement. Varies

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking third-party cookies stops the Microsoft identifiers above. Disabling cookies may affect your experience on our site.

IV

How We Use Your Information

  • To understand how visitors use our site and improve the experience
  • To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns
  • To analyze aggregate traffic trends and site performance
V

Third-Party Services

Our site links to or integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Booksy — online appointment scheduling
  • WhatsApp (Meta) — messaging
  • Instagram (Meta) — social media
  • Google Fonts — web font delivery
  • Cloudflare — website hosting, security, and page-performance analytics
VI

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Data collected through analytics and advertising tools is shared with the respective service providers — Google, Microsoft (including Bing, which receives the Microsoft browser identifier described above), Meta, and Cloudflare — as described above, for analytics and ad measurement. We have no control over what Microsoft or Meta subsequently do with identifiers set on their own domains; their privacy policies govern that.

VII

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to or deletion of your data
  • Opt out of targeted advertising
  • Disable cookies through your browser settings

California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information.
